The worst was a few years back...SNF football game with the Panthers, followed by TNF on the road against the Falcons. SP was fuming about that

No, that was the debut of the new all white unis and those were definitely on the road @ Carolina

The last Home Thursday game was vs the falcons when they were undefeated and we beat them. Mauti blocked the punt. We’ve only played twice at home on Thursday. Vs the Vikings (after super bowl) and Atlanta (game I just mentioned).

one of the biggest reasons I'm upset I have to be at work all night Thursday night and miss the game

And that one is a whole different scenario. It's not a short week or anything. You have all summer to prep for that game. It's almost preferable to playing on Sunday since you get am extended break before week 2.
Forget what I just said. Obviously that was a home game. My above message makes no sense after I reread.

I hate playing on Thursday but is it too much to ask that they not give us a handicap when playing our divisional rival?
