This game was disappointing but we were hardly exposed

We played a very good defense and we clearly didn’t bring our A game. Dallas tried to give this away and we doubled down and made sure we messed up in return.

We are 10-2. We aren’t exposed and our offense isn’t figured out. Not many teams have the line and linebackers like the Cowboys. Their defense is legit and we took them lightly.

I hope this was a humbling moment for the team and we get focused. Stop with the stupid crap on social media and stop acting like we already won the Super Bowl.

I know. Those people are being silly.

Saints will have more in store.

I think Dallas showed that if you can get pressure on Brees and double up on Thomas, the Saints don’t really have an answer. Armstead is vital to the team’s success.

This is the biggest issue to me. Should never ever happen in the NFL

This loss just really sucks because the Rams are 10-1 and don’t look to slow down. Need them to drop a game ASAP.

I'm just not convinced Payton will learn anything from this game.

As I said in another thread:

Hold Thomas every play, target out players heads, and hold Jordan every play. That's what Dallas did the refs never called it.

Bushrod got his stool pushed in tonight.

Luckily not many teams have the personnel Dallas has.

I pray we meet them in the Dome during the playoffs. I don’t want to discredit their effort, but they aren’t good on offense and tried to lose this game.

Why? Does he have a tendency to not figure things out, IYO?
If the line can’t block and the receivers don’t catch the ball, it doesn’t matter what Payton does.

Exposed in the sense that Brees struggles with pressure up the middle, which they provide a good bit tonight. Not every team can do that, and the Saints O-line wont suck as much as they did tonight.

Dont get me wrong, the edge pressure was there as well, just pointing out Brees historically does a better job against that by sliding around/stepping up in the pocket.

Not exactly a blueprint, but get pressure up the middle and the Offense struggles.

Lol you let Dak throw 250 yards on that Swiss cheese defense. Nothing to be proud of

Interior pressure is Drew’s kryptonite. When he can’t step up in the pocket and make his throws he has off games

Earlier in the year, there was a thread where PFF rated our OL 11th... And everyone lost their shite.

Well, maybe that wasn't so far off.
Our interior OL played like dogshit tonight.

Offensive line looked tired and had no explosion tonight. Granted, Dallas' defense played a great game, but it's possible that Unger, Warford, and Peat are still beaten up - interior was collapsing all night. Bushrod looked awful. Ram was the only guy that looked normal tonight. Still, if Trequan Smith doesn't miss an easy TD pass through his hands, it's a different ball game.

Brees still had an off game. Our O line has been a little overrated in pass blocking this year. Having Armstead is huge, but Brees has had the lowest time to throw all year at 2.57 seconds. He's been very good at getting the ball out quick all year. There was not much he could do today, everybody was caving around him. Overall most of the offense had a bad day, including coaches.

Yep. Besides Chicago, the rams play the league's worst to close out the season.
