This field makes me want an outdoor stadium for the Saints.

It looks tight. And whether it’s in New Orleans or somewhere else, someday that fleur de lis will be in the middle of a sun drenched field permanently.

As a season ticket holder, I can’t disagree more.

Right. Outdoor stadiums will never work in Louisiana.

Didn't say it wouldn't work. But I'd rather not have to sweat my balls off in the sun to watch a live game.

HELL NO on an outdoor stadium.

Retractable roof though? Or even just large windows for the Dome. New Orleans is prone to some absolutely amazing fall/winter days. Would go for that.

An outdoor stadium in New Orleans for a noon kickoff in the hottest part of the year? Lol. Wtf are you thinking? That is a horrible horrible horrible idea.
It works for LSU only bc they play a majority of their games at night when slightly cooler but it is still miserable and hot most of the time. Only in late October would it be even feasible and enjoyable.

Always thought it would be pretty cool to install windows on the sides of the video boards or put a glass roof or retractable roof on the Dome. I like in Atlanta they have that big window in their dome.

Try to push the league for some Thurs/Sunday night/Monday games for early part of the season but like I said, I think a retractable roof would be perfect.

Something new though. Something different. Because when 70+ year old Gayle’s unnamed heirs begin fielding San Diego, San Antonio, or St Louis’s billion dollar designs in the next decade, what will be Louisiana’s answer to their offers?
