That timeout was important. It "pretty much"
guaranteed we'd win if he made the FG. Our odds were probably in the 98% range.

Had just completed two passes prior. Why not do another out or PA pass on 3rd and 1?

they seemed more concerned with centering it than trying for the first, the call just seemed to be hey if we get the first its lagniappe.

thought the mistake was on the calls prior to the 4th and 10 conversion, we had the timeout but didn't use the middle of the field

Me. I had a bad feeling about putting our defense with holes back out on to the field. We had to pick up that first down and we didn’t. Credit goes to the Vikings defense

Yes. We absolutely should have done that play differently. From using Ingram as the battering ram to get the 1st, or getting the ball to Kamara in space to work for the 1st, or even have Brees fake a hand-off and run it himself...we should have had a better play but we were content to get the field goal.

After getting the FG taken off the board in the Falcons game, and the TD off the board this game due to lining up incorrectly, I’m PISSED we didn’t get that call just for karma reasons. Why can’t we get the f’ing break for once

Yeah maybe kamara should have been in there, that would have likely forced the D to play more honestly.

I thought the play was the right one. Kamara was getting some yards in the 2nd half. Just glad they didnt give it to Ingram

I have no problems with the call. You've got to expect one of your 2 Pro Bowl RBs can get 1 yard.
