26. Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson (5-10, 210 pounds)

Etienne's open-field quickness and receiving skills are set up to make him a top-flight change of pace back in the NFL, but he also developed some better workhorse attributes from his surprise return season.

27. Mac Jones, QB, Alabama (6-3, 214 pounds)

Jones won't provide much as a runner, but he makes for it with his strong, smart pocket presence, big arm and downfield efficiency after a Burrow-like meteoric rise. He also has ideal leadership and grinding qualities to get better mentally and physically.

28. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa (6-4, 260 pounds)

Collins can play either inside or outside and have an impact with his quickness, agility and range. He's another intriguing athlete to help a team in pass coverage.

29. Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU (6-3, 200 pounds)

Marshall took advantage of Chase not suiting up for LSU by showing off his unique combination of size and speed. He is a field-stretcher with the potential to develop into a big-play No. 1.

30. Nick Bolton, OLB, Missouri (6-0, 232 pounds)

Another linebacker, more speed and quickness near the top of this class. Bolton can develop into a greater asset against the pass, but he has a strong calling card with his sound tackling and run-stopping skills.

Depending on free agency, the saints have to take a corner.

I would love to trade back and grab terrace marshall.

In the second or 3rd round id take tylan wallace to replace sanders

If mac jones is still around at 15 or 18 you have to trade up but i think he will be long gone.

He is a perfect fit for the saints.

Nice to see a few linebackers in our range. Unless some top 15 guy falls or something I think you have to go with the top LB or CB available at our pick.

I like Mac but I don’t know about trading up to get him. If he falls to mid 20’s maybe but I don’t think he’s a sure enough prospect to give up what it would take to get into 15-18.

Man I know WR might not be our most pressing need, but I’d love to have Terrace Marshal. That dude is going to thrive in the NFL.

I watched Zaven Collins play a couple times, he’s the real deal. Some may tho k because of his size he’s a arse rushing only 3-4 OLB but he’s the whole package. He can be a 4-3 MLB, 3-4 OLB or even a sub package 4-3 DE if you wanted. Corner is the bigger need but I wouldn’t mind putting this guy with Demario one bit.

I mean linebackers might be in our range but given the track record we have of not picking one in the first round I'm not getting my hopes up

So, you like him but you are going to bitch about 6 to 10 spots.

If you like him you like him. He is either your next qb or he isn't.

Interesting that you frame it that way. I’ll frame it as “I like him, but I don’t like him enough to throw an extra 1st or 2nd round pick and maybe more in to get him”.

The Saints will take the best center available.

If the saints decide to roll with taysom at qb, going with a BA rb like TE might not be such a terrible idea. Go with a Baltimore type offense. Not my preference, but maybe it would be ok

So you don't really like him then.

If a 2nd round pick is going to stop you from picking "your" guy then yeah i get it.

Is there no in between? Can I like him as a first round pick but not as a first and second round pick? You seem fairly worked up over my use of the word “like”
