Let him sit under Brees for a couple of years and then have a decent transition to a long term nfl star.

We don’t have enough kitchen sinks to throw.

I’ll donate my kitchen sink. And the sinks in my bathrooms.

I don't think Brees has a couple of years left

Do you have any idea of how hard it would be to move from the bottom 4-6 picks to the top 3?

Even if the Saints were in a position to get a middle round pick come draft time It would not happen. Hell if we were going to get the 3rd or 4th pick I doubt it would happen unless we throw away our 2021 first round. Burrow is a Cincy lock, which I'm totally cool with since the Saints won't have to play them often.

Nothing a kitchen sink couldn't handle

Fortunately/Unfortunately Joe has played his way to top 5 consideration. I'm sure he's going to kill the off-season workouts.

There is no way Cincy/Miami/Denver/Washington are going to trade their picks away if there is a top flight QB on the board. Regardless of the offer.

Plus you will see mid level teams also trying to move up with more appealing draft capital like San Die-- LAC, Tampa, Indy, Tennessee.

I really hope I'm wrong.

There are 31 other teams. Some have considerable more draft capital than the Saints.

Do you not understand this?

There's so much wrong with this statement.

It would probably cost the next 3 years first & second rounders.

99% of us on here want this, it’s just not realistic. Look what LAR gave up to move from 15 to 1. Now trying figuring out what it would cost to move up from 26-32

I don't think Brees has a couple of years left

the way the rulesare now i think he can still play 2-3 more years

but that said, you can see it in brees face after the game talking about how they just want a fair chance at winning the game.

thats PC speak for he is sick and tired of the refs trying to rig games against them to stop them from winning

i can honestly see where drew could look at that, and if they frick us out of the SB again this year he could just retire and say its not worth it if you give it your all only to have the NFL organization hell bent on assuring you getting fricked over

Would go down as the biggest draft pick trade of all time. 2020 swap + 2020 3rd, 4th, 6th + 2021 first and second and third. Not going to happen, lets put this topic to bed.

We're more likely able to end up with Tua, fwiw

I still think Brees retires after this season and Teddy is the heir.

Give it all away except M Thomas and whoever the best lineman is. Think about a 5 year plan instead of a 5 month plan.
