Drew Brees’s Career Year Could Change His Legacy Forever

quote:

At 39 years old, the Saints quarterback has been performing at an MVP level. If that continues, New Orleans should be Super Bowl–bound, and Brees could change his place in the all-time QB pecking order.

Wrong. His legacy is already cemented and anyone who says otherwise is retarded.

About the only thing he hasn't accomplished is a league MVP award, and as far as I'm concerned he was robbed in 2009.

The suggestion that he might "not yet" be mentioned in the same discussion with Brady or Manning is asinine. He's clearly of the same caliber, and there are valid arguments to put him above either.

And should his current level of play continue through the rest of the season, he could make a real case as the third-best quarterback to ever play the game.

If Brees wins the MVP and super bowl he's the GOAT. I can understand arguments for Brady, but no one else

I hope we play the pats in the superbowl. ok drew isnt as good as brady or manning, but owns every record and beat both of them head to head in the superbowl.

I hate to go into arbitrary ratings, but Manning was worlds better than Brady, it’s just too bad his teams and coaching weren’t.

The last QB to win both was Kurt Warner. That was almost 20 years ago.
