The #Texans are releasing versatile veteran OL Senio Kelemete today, per the wire, creating about $1.5M in cap space. The 30-year-old has started 42 games in his career. They also released LB Peter Kalambayi.

Per Rapsheet

Was a really good player, and a nice depth piece when he was here. Obligatory “should we?”

Definitely - nice Easton replacement. I recall he was always solid when he played. Hated to see him leave but he wanted a shot to start.

Hope they bring Hurst back.

...apparently they’re still interested in Easton, and Kelemete would probably fit in that same category of reserve G/C that they’re looking for.

I think hurst will for sure be back.

He really looked good whenever he got time.

That was a nice find by the front office.

Hurst should come back because he showed he can play guard and tackle for you adequately

I don't think he played guard.
