I'd like to take my 6 year old to his 1st saints game. I figured what better way to experience your 1st game as a playoff game with Drew Brees at the helm.

I have always sat in the plaza/club. I'm not sure I can swing two tickets in those areas based on the current prices.

That said, would endzone/corner around row 20ish be doable? I'd like to closer but ya know, budgets and shite. Does it feel detached from the atmosphere up there? I want him to experience/feel the hearbeat of the dome.

Even when tiger stadium is at its finest, the uppers feel somewhat detached.

any legit responses are welcomed. thanks

No, not at all, I have row 23 in one of the corners and honestly to me, I feel more attached with the crowd than I ever did when I sat in the lower bowl. I took my girls to their first game a few years back and we said middle row upper deck behind the goal posts and they loved it. I would recommend getting the side where the saints come out for pregame. It’s lit.

Terrace is way more lit.

Midfield lower terrace is best view in the dome IMO.

Straight behind the end zone has a better view then the corner and should be a little cheaper

I sit in the terrace. It’s a ton of fun up top, I would just advise you that you’re gonna hear some language your 6 yo may not understand yet

Prices are starting to drop....I hope this trend continues next week when the Rams come to town

They’ve got those metal wall panels you can bang on.

I sat directly behind the end zone, maybe 5 rows from the top in the terrace last year for the Panthers playoff game and it was awesome. No seat is a bad seat in the dome IMO.

To me, as far as atmosphere goes, you dont miss anything by being in the terrace. I would try to get as low as possible but you will love it.

I honestly would be surprised considering the magnitude of the game, that it'll be 9 years since we were last in that spot, and that this could be Drew's final hoorah if we do win it all.

Make that price even higher if it's the Cowboys.

Everything others have said is pretty much spot-on.

Just an FYI, some games there is what I'll describe as a "rough" crowd in some parts of the Terrace. I've been attacked a few times by drunks from both fanbases. Granted, it's uncommon (4 times in 120+ games), but be forewarned that if one is seated near you, some cannot be reasoned with, and trying is often more trouble than it's worth.

FTR, I had no role in instigating any of the aforementioned situations, and didn't do anything to further escalate them.

Raised endzone seats are some of my favorite views.

I agree, it’s uncommon, but happens. At the steeler game I actually had to talk to a saints fan who was getting a little too over top with the Steelers fan sitting next to me. Saints fan started antagonizing him a little too much and could see he was starting to get him annoyed.

Sat in the terrace for the 07 national championship game and it was loud. Doesn't have that detached feeling like Tiger Stadium.
