He was given a 2 year deal. His play at Qb next season will determine if he gets longterm deal.

It wont be Winston. He's a turnover machine.

He will be the QB next year most likely - we all know Payton loves him.

The key next year is restocking the war chest for assets to get a franchise QB sometime in the next 2-3 years.

so is Taysom...he's also pretty bad at most other metrics you use to judge an NFL QB. He can run the ball though..

It's pretty well known Arians liked to take risks in his scheme.

Not to mention the general effect of Winston being here for two years in a new system and he's obviously taken measures on his own to improve himself and his game since he's be playing 2nd/3rd string.

People writing him off need to think twice.

If taysom is the guy, draft Harris. AK, Harris, and taysom would be a handful on the ground. Just pray we don't fall behind by 2 scores

Taysom is best how we normally use him. So valuable. He doesn’t have the accuracy to be a very good NFL qb.

So does Hill. He fumbled the ball 1-2 times a game, and had at least 2 interception worthy passes a game. But unlike Hill, Winston can also sling it for 400+ yards and 4 TDs. While also somehow having better QB awareness because Hill’s is absolutely awful.

Kamara was given a 5 year deal and with Hill he is not as explosive due to the defense crowding the box.

Taysom is a small notch less of a turnover machine(Jameis had a 6.1% rate of INT/fumbles last year, Taysom 5.5% this year) but the offense's upside is massively larger with Jameis. Taysom can't put 30 on the board.

I thought it would be Taysom...I wanted it to be Taysom...sadly now I no longer believe Taysom can do the job. If Hill/Winston are the two choices, I think it should probably be Winston. PLEASE let there be a 3rd option!!

I bet some Saints fans would love to have Jalen Hurts and his 52% completion percentage (even though Philly could admittedly stand to upgrade at WR).

I would because one's 22 and one's 30. But neither should start in front of Jameis.
