Its not that Drew Brees said he wouldn’t kneel.
It’s that he said he thought kneeling was disrespectful.
I would never kneel for the national anthem, because my american experience has been so positive, and as a Jew I cant Be anything but thankful to live in a country that hasn’t routinely oppressed me.
But I understand not all people view the national anthem as the same thing.
