he falls in the brian mitchell category where a lot of those yards are return yards

Tim Brown is the only other real return guy on that list. The rest got the yards mainly from scrimmage

so id say no

Look at the names on that list

He's a lock. Maybe not first ballot but he's in

Damn, that sucks. If this was baseball, he’d be a shoe in for HOF, but I don’t think he has the highlights or Super Bowl appearance or MVP type pedigree to get into the NFL HOF.

He'll be inducted in some team's HOF but he's not going into the Pro FB HOF nor should he. Also those other guys on the list besides Mitchell got a large chunk of their yards from scrimmage. Sproles ( 11K of his 19K) and Mitchell got most of their yards from kick and punt returns.

For the 2011 season alone we will induct him in our team HOF. He set all purpose NFL record that year.

I always liked Sproles and sorry to see this happen to him. He may not be quite HOF worthy but I've never seen a player significantly faster than everyone else on the field like he was during his career. Even in his 30s.

It sucks.

Healthy two seasons and he is top 3.
