What's the back story here?

His numbers were solid last year.

90% of the "should we"s are no. But I wouldn't mind this at all.

Would love that pick up but get the feeling someone else will pay more than what we can offer for him

Something to do with injuries over the last few years and the amount of money he was making as part of his contract

For the right price, I'd love to take a chance on Haden with this team.

Didn't we try to trade for him a couple years ago?

I doubt anyone would claim him on waivers and pick up his contract, but why do I have a feeling Haden is going to be a Jet.

If there's a chance to get him, though, I'd bring him in.

Last year

The Cleveland Browns were in talks to send cornerback Joe Haden to the New Orleans Saints according to a report from Ed Werder of ESPN. However, the Saints determined that the price was too high for the 27-year old Pro Bowl talent.

I think he would prefer to go to the chiefs than to us if money is the same. Better team and easier chance to win division and go to the playoffs. He'll start alongside Peters which gives him an easier time against #2WRs.

with us its harder and more obstacles.

At this point, sign Haden and IR Breaux...Haden is younger, healthier and better than Breaux.

Well health is a wash there....

Haden hasn't been very good even when healthy as of late...but hey if the price is right

He's not the old Joe Haden. Serviceable, but you shouldn't expect anything special if signed. He's not the same Pro Bowl, All-Pro type player. Not close.

Not better, but may be able to see the field more assuming he stays healthy.

I think it would be worth it to see if he can still be decent. CB injuries have been terrible for NO
