I don't recall the same ole Saints ever dealing with the amount of injuries we have this year. Remember, we were 5-2 before the injury tsunami derailed our season.

Yeah basically.
Not interested in hearing the injury excuse. Happens to every team.
Saints hit the tank button a few weeks back.
Now we are in full tank mode, so expect to see even more players hitting IR, which is why it's head scratchimg why anyone would pay for tickets to watch a bunch of unknowns.

Every team loses half of their starters including 70% of their offense for 5 week stretches every year? Man I didn't know that. Where are you getting that data from.

bullshite, at most, one team a year has to deal with the amount of injuries and to the key positions they are at for the saints. They are down 3-4 offensive pro bowlers, and a potential one on defense. And thats not counting winston, trautman, turner, or kpass

We need Big Ben to come save us.
Either him or get Smokin’ Jay to come out of retirement.

Maybe Saint Brees could donate some of the money we are paying his arse this year to sit in a broadcast booth back to us to get a fricking receiver since our prima Donna receiver is sitting on his arse

Mirrors the Patriots without TB, except enhanced by injuries. You don't just move on from a HoF QB, nor does your salary cap. Mickey is a great GM for a playoff team because he can worked the books to keep guys around. I'm not so sure he is the guy who can manage a rebuild by limiting spending and bringing in youth.

Name 1 team that has been successful down QB1, QB2 for several games, WR1, WR2 to start the season, about to lose WR3 for 3 games, RB1, RB2 for a stretch, TE2 (Vannett may actually be TE1), LT1, RT1, LG1, C1 for a few games, K, DE2, DE3, rookie DE, Nickel 1, DT1 or 2 for 6 games
And this is off the top of my head, htran has a more extensive list.

Washed, and is off field transgressions make Winston's look like child's play

While we are at it, might as well bring in the Mannings, Alex Smith, Rivers... Since your plan is to bring in washed up guys who no longer have it, might as well bring in Montana, Favre, Uncle Rico in for a tryout

It’s amazing how people just completely overlook this fact.
What’s very encouraging is this team is competing with their 2nd/3rd qb, loss of 80% of their top tier talent and overwhelming injuries to your depth pieces.
I’d argue they are in a pretty good place. We will always wonder what this Season would of looked like without most of the team being injured for a large part of the season.

Exactly. We were 9-1 without Drew the last two years.

The Saints offense has 0 of their top starters currently play what do you expect.
