Kliff Kingsbury is terrible calling a game. I have watched him two strait weeks and he makes the stupidest choices. Payton is right about the young coach movement. They aren't ready.

Kingsbury was a terrible hire. It has nothing to do with age. The guy was a failed college coach.

That time out that negated a stop on 4th down at the end of half is one of the worst I've ever seen

I dont care either way, but if he saw something he didnt like and didnt call a TO and 49ers score, then he'd be getting roasted for NOT calling a TO.

AZ is also a little ways off. Takes a franchise a few years to rebuild. He'll grow with em. They put some points up against the no2 defense.

The cardinals were 3-13 last season

Kliff, in his first season with a rookie QB, has that 3-13 team at 3-5-1

Stupider is the comparative form of the adjective stupid. Because stupid is a two-syllable word, it’s comparative form can be created either by adding the suffix “-er” or by using more. The same goes for the superlative form of stupid. It can be either the stupidest or the most stupid.

NFL has traditionally filled HC roles with crusty washed up recycled coaches. The young guys are mostly not ready, but there are 32 teams and only a handful of decent coaches. Owners are just trying to find that diamond in the rough rather than pull the Ryan's back out of retirement.

Because McVay was the latest coach of the hour, and Mahomes was under Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech, Arizona just assumed they could hire Kliff, give him a Heisman-level QB, and recapture the magic of McVay/Mahomes...

They should have looked more closely at Kliff's coaching record at Texas Tech instead of to giving him the credit for the athlete that Mahomes is or assume that since he's young and offense-minded, that he'd be the next McVay.

Geez I think they’re doing alright. They won 3 straight then lost to the two best nfc teams.

He also developed B.W. Webb and Baker Mayfield. I didn’t like him as a head coach either, but he can develop qbs and call plays. He was also the coordinator during the Johnny Manziel error at A&M. I think if he gets a few more pieces on offense and this draft is loaded with them that that could be formidable in the future

I dare say Leslie Edwin Miles would have been a better choice for an NFL coach than Klifford Kyle Kingsbury (JK, I don’t know his middle name and don’t care to look it up - Daniel Tosh humor). 56-27, plus lining up in the I-form with a FB and running the ball to set up play action still works in the NFL.

He had a few bone headed fourth down calls but I’m not writing him off yet. I’m not saying he’s going to be the next CSP but as a rookie coach he will learn from his mistakes. Hell, AZ was awful last season and he has 3 wins and a tie with a 5’9 QB so far this season. I don’t think anyone expected this team to be a playoff caliber team.

I think KK has been pretty good with X&Os playcalling. If anything he laid out some stuff last night that I think SP can draw from. Spread em out etc

His situational playcalling has been questionable at times for sure

That with 10 tries you could go 0/10 trying to find the next McVay
