Works hard but he's been paid very well despite sub-par performance for his position.

Scott Shanle came over during training camp in 2006 from the Cowboys in exchange for a conditional pick.

His best season as a Saints was in 2006 when he lead the team with 77 solo tackles enroute to 117 total, 4 sacks, a forced fumble, and two passes defended. During the 2007 season, Shanle started in 14 games recording 96 tackles (56 solo), a pass defense, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a tackle for a loss. Shanle was an important asset over the years as a WLB and special teamer. Known his sweet tribal tatto on his arm, Shanle played a vital part in the Saints quest for their first ever Super Bowl victory. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I really like his white trash arm tat too. Here's an idea to make this thread instantly more interesting:

Who would win a plain clothes, white trash contest? Scott Shanle or Thomas Morestead?

"Hey old man. Can you tell me where I can find this here football player?"

*old man takes a look at the name on the piece of paper*

"Ah yes. That's there is the ball carrier. Now what you're gonna wanna do is go straight out to this road here and make a left. Turn right when you come to a barn with a silo in the rear. Go down that road about 2.5 miles. The grass will start to get short and will clear into an open field. Look for a bald headed gentlemen with a barb wire arm band tattoo running in the that field. Bout' 5 yards ahead will be the ball carrier."

"Thanks old man!"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddd scene.

Thomas has better hair, for sure.

I bet he uses Herbal Essence, my guess is Passion Fruit.

Has a normal taste in clothes as far as I can see.

Scott Shanle's tattoo makes him more white trash.
