Scott Shanle Appreciation Thread

Close to 500 tackles as a Saint, a nobody coming in here, Championship Linebacker, MVP of defense one year, Dude came here, worked hard and has been great for us.

Scott Shanle came over during training camp in 2006 from the Cowboys in exchange for a conditional pick.
His best season as a Saints was in 2006 when he lead the team with 77 solo tackles enroute to 117 total, 4 sacks, a forced fumble, and two passes defended. During the 2007 season, Shanle started in 14 games recording 96 tackles (56 solo), a pass defense, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a tackle for a loss. Shanle was an important asset over the years as a WLB and special teamer. Known his sweet tribal tatto on his arm, Shanle played a vital part in the Saints quest for their first ever Super Bowl victory. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Thomas has better hair, for sure.
