I don't know who Schilling Distributing is.

quote:
According to the Boston Herald, the views are not shared by Anheuser-Busch. A spokesman for key NFL sponsor Anheuser-Busch told the newspaper that says the beer maker supports both the national anthem and freedom of speech. Matt Kohan, senior director of marketing communications, told the Herald that the company's history of supporting the institutions and values that have made America strong includes "our armed forces and the national anthem, as well as diversity, equality and freedom of speech." Kohan also said the controversy between President Donald Trump and protesting NFL players "touches on complex issues that require in-depth discussions and nuanced debate."

Are people/businesses in other markets acting like this also?

Schilling is a Lafayette-based distributor of amongst other things, Budweiser.

Nice spin title.
What is says is they are removing sales signs with NFL/Saints logos. They aren't stopping the sale of products that endorse the NFL.
If they were serious about it they would boycott by not selling products that promote the NFL.

They're not serious about it. They know these same idiots will still guzzle Bud Light and watch the NFL. It's much easier to say you won't on the internet.

They’re going to stop selling the Saints themes bud light cans.
Good for them taking a stand.

Smaller companies will start doing this more and more to get some free advertising and hope to have their name mentioned in some national stories. The car dealer in Denver who said he was reevaluating Von Miller’s endorsement deal got more free ad time than any player ever could have given him.

If they are a distributor who specializes in Budweiser products, they would not survive removing Bud products from their services.
