I think a 5-1/4-2 start is very probable; but after that, I don't think any of the next 10 are gimmes.

it's the NFL, very few games are gimmes. If we start strong without Ingram and we stay relatively healthy we will be alright

If we start 5-1, I think momentum carries us to 11 or 12 wins. Possibly more, hard to predict how a team will look before the season.

Week 1 should be a win.

Of course. It’s a very difficult schedule on paper. Fortunately we have the leadership to go on a run.

Should not matter if we have the better team and prepared to win these games.

I think I've read something to the effect that Payton has never missed the playoffs if he has a winning record after the first 5 games and conversely, he's never made the playoffs if he has a losing record after the first 5 games.

No. Make the playoffs healthy is the only concern

1-3 is definitely possible. We'll see. Bucs and Browns aren't the gimmies the media and other posters are making them out to be.

yeah.. typically we don't play the Giants well up in the Meadowlands.

we've even had some rotten luck against the Browns if you go back and check.

The teams that worry me the most are the Redskins and Ravens. I know.. I know. What on earth do I mean? It's just we have a hard time with both of those teams historically. I think we beat the Ravens once. It was still when Aaron Brooks was the QB and I even think Jake Delhomme played in the game cause Brooks got hurt or something.

The Redskins have also caused fits. Even the year we won the Bowl they took us to the limit. Then last year the winning streak was nearly snapped by those guys. I know style points don't matter in the Pros and a win is a win. It's just an old habit I have to worry shite that sometimes isn't worth worrying over.

It's a pretty brutal schedule. I don't see an 8-0 streak in there anywhere so I think a hot start is going to be essential. The only game that I think is a slam dunk is the opener against the Bucs at home. I think the Browns are going to give us a better game the next week. And road games against NYG, BAL, MIN, and CIN have been difficult in the past.
