The Chiefs could be exciting as frick with Watkins, Hill, Kelce, Hunt and Mahomes if they had a good coach.

Why? They're about equally talented, and 1 is coming off of a major injury while 1 is not. I'd pay the guy who's not coming off that injury before I paid the guy who was.

Watkins got less than 600 yards in his last two seasons. On what planet is he worth that much. This is such a bonehead signing. This contract makes no sense.

What is going on with these WR contracts magnifies how good of a decision it was to trade Cooks last year. This season he's costing over $8 million and next year he's a free agent. While Michael Thomas is only costing about $1.5 million per season and no free agency until 2020.

Cooper Kupp > Watkins. Hell - Robert Woods put up better numbers last year.
