Honestly not sure. But I’d guess they are making room for Reynolds or Odell. Well I’m hoping so anyways.

Won't be exact, but the easiest is to look at the contract, $780K in this case, divide by games in a season and multiply by games played by team to get what he was paid for the year. What they cleared would be this amount ~$367k, less the contract total. You would then have to add any portion that is guaranteed for the year and any future guarantees. Doesn't really apply here, so it clears $413k.
