It's already in that afternoon window (second game window), I doubt it gets moved.

Packers Pitt even without Rogers has a lot of appeal for NBC, Roethlisberger will probably retire after this year.

You're absolutely right, which is why NBC will select Saints-Rams. You guys who think this way are thinking about how it was 20 years ago. Just as important as to how big a fan base is these days is fantasy relevance. And Green Bay has NONE with Rodgers gone. The Saints and Rams are loaded with that. Couple that with the fact they are division leaders and its a no-brainer.

The only way I see this not happening is if Fox has the ability to protect that game from being flexed. I know they have some protection in that area, just don't know how much.

I’m going to this game in LA and I’m wondering, if flexed to SNF then that would still be a 5-530 start time locally correct? And if not flexed it’s going to be a 1 o’clock game locally, or am I totally off?

1:05 PM start and 5:30 PM start for both time slots (in PST)

Coupled with thanksgiving weekend traffic and the god damn 405, I may have to skip attending if the game gets flexed. Hell, the 405 is going to be a parking lot all day anyway. Its probably going to take four hours of driving (one way) to get to the game from San Diego.

Also. There is nothing shot they move packers/steelers. Those are probably the two biggest national fan bases in the country.

Yeah watching Green Bay play tonight that Packers/Steelers game is as good as gone.

Quite frankly there’s no way Saints/Rams isn’t flexed to primetime tbh tbh tbh

Green Bay and Pittsburgh are brand names. Even without Rodgers they wouldn't move the game.

That is true but the flex is about the best game that will also draw the casual/non-fan base fans of the teams playing.

If they both teams keep winning I think its a must to flex that game with the huge playoff impact it will have

I agree, Green Bay looks beyond bad. They might lose out.

They'll never move a GB-Pittsburgh game off of primetime, even if both teams were 0-10. Both are huge national draws.

What if tom Brady led Dallas was 10-0 playing against bill bellichick’s 10-0 patriots that same Sunday right after Tom Brady was traded to Dallas in the previous off season?

In the case of GB/Pittsburgh they are.

I cannot ever see them moving a game with just one of those teams, let alone both.

See my above comment.

They’d move it then.

The only way the Saints-Rams game is not flexed is if Fox is able to protect it.

No chance MNF comes off the GB/Pitt game.

The ratings for the GB/Det game Monday night were up 6% over the Chiefs/Broncos last week and up 25% from the Titans/Colts game the week before. Looking back at Week 9 in 2016, the ratings were 3% lower than the Seahawks/Bills game on the eve of Donald Trump’s election.

Obviously there is no real dip from viewers even if #12 isn't under center.

Which means they'll keep the Packers and the Steelers considering each franchise's history.

It's like trying to get the Dodgers and Red Sox switched without Kershaw pitching for the Dodgers (regardless of the records)
