Saints players all smiling and laughing on the field at the end

keep perspective, they don’t care about the game as much as fans do. At the end of the day all of their six and seven figure paychecks are still clearing. Most of the players will probably be sitting on a exotic beach somewhere by this time tomorrow.
It’s the fans who get way too worked up over the game. Enjoy your Sunday. The Saints are celebrating their time off right now.

They do care, but your team losing is definitely a first world problem. Maybe they have a better perspective than you do about the sport.

Nfl sucks compared to college. It’s getting worse and worse. I will be over this loss pretty quickly bc the players clearly didn’t prepare or care that much to start.

The TV pays not the fans mantra - TV money is also paid by the fans via advertising which massively inflates consumer costs with big Corporate marketing budgets
