Damn Chamberlain IR'd again? Didn't realize his injury was so significant.

I like other guys at LB more anyways!

Would have been solid off the bench. At this rate we may need volunteers from ST to suit up on Sundays to give our starters a blow.

Martin is pretty unexpected. Edit: Don't know why I was thinking ILB.

Not surprised on the other moves. No point in wasting a space on Morgan and Chamberlain hasn't practiced since the first week(or maybe even first day) of training camp I think.

We also made 1 more move than we needed to. We were at 79 before. Smith and Haralson swap. Toone(or any of the cut/IR players) and Rolle swap. Still at 79. Cut 2 more and IR 3 puts us at 74.

He started on PUP. Given the rules there was NO reason to IR him. He'll have until week 9 to get healthy(final week they have to make a decision to add him to the roster or IR him).

What was his injury again? Is late season action a possibility? PUP would indicate a chance, no?

No vilma will be next injured reserve there just waiting on more info. I would not put it past us getting Bart Scott at a vet minimum. Two vets in the middle would help us from getting gashed on the run.

This is the most surprising thing to me. Why is no one discussing this? Make a claim for a CB? Rotoworld says he will play Thursday and then be cut. So why waste a waiver? Saints FO must have liked this kid prior.

Saints claimed CB Jumal Rolle off waivers from the Bills.

An undrafted free agent out of small-school Catawba, Rolle will play in the second half of Thursday's preseason finale before likely being released.

ILB is not a concern at this point. Hawthorne, Lofton and Humbar have all played extremely well. If Vilma can't go, expect them to keep Kevin Reddick.

Eric Martin played OLB, which is why this is a shock for me.

That was my fault. For some reason I was thinking of Reddick.

That must mean they trust the vets more and like Johnson's upside more. And that Wilson and Galette must be ready.
