Saints leaning towards Taysom starting.

Nick underhill also suggested that this is what he expects.
I believe this is because Jameis does not know the offense. When they were calling plays during the niners game it seemed like Jameis was a bit lost. They used multiple timeouts because they couldn’t get the play called. Taysom knows the offense and I think that’s why Payton makes this choice. If Jameis had been here a year I think he would be starting.

I mean, we gave him that contract. Might as well see if he can be a starting QB or not. If he sucks then you pull him and put in Crab Legs.

Not that big of a deal who takes the first snap. Both will play a lot.

Honestly I am happy that Taysom is getting his chance. We find out pretty quickly if he is the guy when Drew retires or not. Both he and Jameis will get chances. Its good to know now instead of next year.

There has to be another Qb added or they can’t run Taysom out in multiple other sets.

Personally I see this going really well
Like, 300+ passing 150+ rushing well
Like, "Should Drew Bress stay on the bench?" headlines well
But then over the following weeks as there is tape he will be less effective
