Ryan takes over in 2-3 years when Mickey retires.

This guy is really key and it would suck to lose him. Loomis is the money guy and this is the guy that actually finds the talent(along with the help of the scouts he heads up).

I hope the case was him just not wanting to leave and not the Saints cock blocking, but either way I'm glad we're keeping him.

Pace is a badass. And I suspect for plenty of reasons doesnt want to leave a situation where he is the heir apparent to get fired in e years by an owner who has no clue what he is doing.

The human torch was denied a bank loan...sorry

This guy and Khai Harley are supposed to be our two rising admin studs. I wonder if we promote Loomis soon to try and keep all three?

Dick move not letting him interview if it was for a higher position, if he wanted to.

Adam Beasley of Miami Herald reported yesterday that many candidates are being told by people in the know to stay FAR away from the Dolphins job. It's a terrible position in that they have personell control but zero authority over the HC. It's a terrible structure setup for failure.

ETA: Here is the exact tweet from AB that was actually a retweet of Jason Cole, "Multiple NFL sources said today they would not advise anyone close to them to take the Dolphins GM job because power structure is set up to fail"

I'm pretty confident that they'd let him interview if he was interested.

There's a gif out there with exactly that.

it's tough losing free agents, coaches, and staff. BUT it is the ultimate compliment to the organization. Never used to happen.
