After Thursday a fresh set of eyes dissecting things could be good.

He has a history with the team so it is not a crazy thought. Hue Jackson just did it with the Bengals.

likely, but at the same time he's gonna get another look at HC so why waste his time

hue jackson is more inept and the defense of cincy isn't better

Green Bay's offense was a problem because Aaron Rodgers kept looking for homerun plays instead of the surer throws to keep the down and distance manageable. And has been woefully inaccurate lately.

We should invite McCarthy back just so we can make a Super Bowl run with him and get him another ring if things work out.

He's been outside the team long enough to have some insight that we might just need.

Hue Jackson was previously with the bengals and their quarterback had his best year before he left.

Not gonna happen.

McCarthy is going on vacation and waiting for his phone to ring for HC gigs.

The Saints already have 3 consultants

Brees
Carmichael
Lombardi

They don’t need a 4th

LSU should do this, not the Saints.

McCarthy was a damn good coach for a long time and probably a better coordinator. Sometimes coaches run their course with teams and things don't work out anymore. It's not a terrible idea to bring someone on as a consultant or analyst for a short stint.

As for Hue Jackson... he might suck terribly as a head coach but he's a solid offensive coordinator/QB coach. Some guys are just more suited for that.

Plus, according to an article that came out a few days ago, McCarthy is an "alpha male" and so is Rodgers, and that's why they allegedly butted heads.

We don't need another big dog in this house. We already have Brees and Payton running the show, and that works great.

Yea, I Live next door to the house that McCarthy sold when he took the GB job. Would love for him to buy out the old folks that live there now.
Mike Nolan, Dennis Allen......Mike McCarthy.

Wouldn't ve a bad thing for him if he wasnts to do it. That's the key. He might jist want to take a month off, do An nfl network segment here and there.

Carmichael already has that job.

Besides, I’m pretty sure he already knows he’s getting the Cleveland job.

I am sure McCarthy is tired as hell. Why would he try to catch on to another team when he knows he will be interviewing for HC jobs in about a month.

IMO, Cleveland needs to hire him soon. His offense would work well with Mayfield.
