That's actually really amazing considering how awful the franchise was for a long time. This is wins from regular and post season and keep in mind some of those are the Haslett years, which if you go back and look at the win totals from each season they weren't terrible overall. They had a window there where they were on the cusp of being really good. I know we all go back and think what could have been in 2002 if Jake Delhomme was given the reigns for the remainder of the season.

quote:

Total Wins since 2000

Patriots – 241
Steelers - 203
Colts – 192
Packers – 190
Eagles – 185
Ravens – 181
Seahawks – 175
Broncos – 174
Saints – 165
Giants – 159
Falcons – 156
Cowboys - 151
Vikings – 151
Panthers – 150
Titans – 144
Chargers – 143
Chiefs - 141
Bears - 140
Jets - 140

I would assume browns have 8 wins in that time span.

Makes sense. We have had several great seasons and numerous playoff appearances in that time. The big thing is in that entire time we’ve only truly had one awful season and it was the Katrina year. Other than that we’ve either been good to great and made the playoffs or average and finished 7-9/8-8. Actually pretty impressive considering our earlier history

We've only had ONE season worse than 7-9 since 2000, and that was the Katrina season.

So at worse we've been mediocre every year, with a few really good teams sprinkled in.

Edit:
And that's why you read the thread instead of just the op before posting.

Went back to look at Saints/Falcons scores since 2000. Saints 22 wins. 8 more than Atlanta. Just thought I'd share.

I think we had more reg season wins and post season wins from 09-11 than anybody.
