13Now that Brees has been culled from the herd, things are looking bright!
Besides the whole $100 million that needs to be cut. Gonna need Taysom to play some DE, CB, S, K, LB, OL along with QB, RB, TE, WR and ST he already contributes with after getting rid of some pricey vets.
We are gonna be the 2020 Jets aren’t we? FML.

This team still has Kamara, Thomas, Ramzcyk, Armstead, Jordan, Davis, and Lattimore.
That is 7 of the top 100 players.
Add in Peat, McCoy, Sanders, and Hill that is a great core.
If they resign Hendrickson and Janoris the Saints have 13 of the top 150 players in the league.
If they keep all of the above and resign Winston I would be expecting a 10-6 or better record. Saints still have Payton and Allen coaching and Loomis managing the money.
We are just fine.

Trusting CSP and the staff to know if Hill/Winston can get it done (execute our OFF with the weapons & OL we have) OR make an addition.
Teams are squatting on the short-mid 10-15 yd routes. We have to be able to stretch the field. It will help the run game by getting the defenders off the LOS, and make the short passing game/screens even better. We have a very talented OFF roster; we can do this.

Yeah but in order to continue to have success we gonna have to keep the team intact which is not possible with our cap. Some will have to be let go.

Hendrickson might be gone but he did not do much Sunday. I would rather let him walk on a big deal and get a Compensatory pick than overpay him for one year of production.
I think Armstead will get traded and hopefully Taysom Hill as well. If that happens all the other players can be kept.

Yes, they are one of the few that will have it bigger than some teams, but with the Covid year cap issue, you will see a lot of good players leaving from cap strapped teams and going to shittier teams/rosters with a ton of cap space. Usually, you will see some good FA pickups by good teams/rosters during FA. Not so much this off season.
