Hello Who Dats & Who Datettes and welcome to the week 5, game 5 thread.

Well... the return to the Superdome didn't go as planned this time and now it just feels like the Saints need to get to next week's bye week with no more major injuries and hopefully we can get some players back after the week off.

But there's one more game to get through before we get there... and that's against the Washington Redsk... sorry... Football Team.

And maybe this is the right team for the Saints to play this week as Washington is 30th in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing 30 points per game while only averaging 25. The Washington defense also hasn't forced a turnover since week 1 against the Chargers, so our offense should be able to move the ball. Last week's 374 total yards allowed to the Falcons was the lowest by the WFT D this season.

The Saints defense I'm sure wants to redeem itself after failing in the clutch last week against the Giants, and Washington won't be an easy team to get right on. Taylor Heinicke is completing 70% of his passes, has 2 4th quarter comebacks on the season already and rushes for more than 20 yards per game. But the actual running backs of Antonio Gibson & JD McKissic average a total of 75 rush yards per game. Washington has twice accumulated more than 400 total yards of offense... but the other two times... less than 300 total yards.
