This. Let's not forget that for a few straight seasons we were a less than .500 team, were missing badly in both the draft and on high priced free agents, and fielding historically bad defenses. Hindsight is always 20/20.

So if you have one of the best offensive minds of all time and best coaches of our era and he is the best possible option ever for this franchise in its eternity, you get rid of him because of a few 7-9 seasons. Makes sense....
