That's a very astute observation.

Or if he was and said "I'm going to kill or beat up all these crackers (or whatever else)", we would have heard about it.

The N word is not that big of a deal. I called my black friends that word in the 70's all the time. And they called me honky. The CNN's of the world have used the N word for ratings for to long. Time to turn America media Off

If there was a fine to be put out, I would want the statement to say, "We are holding our players to higher standards and are eliminating the use of this racial slur across the board. Any player caught using it whether they are black, white, hispanic, etc. will be fined."

If they are not going to react in a fair way across the board, I want them to come out and just tell America to get over it, it's just a word, and for everyone to stop holding us back with all the PC complaints.

I think we would have slightly better leadership from drew than a guy who was let back in the league after a 21 month prison stent saying it is unforgivable.

if a player, lets say someone productive for our teams and lets assume for simplicity sake he's white, was caught saying the N word and all such as riley... how would you want our organization to handle it?
Have all the black players who have never used the N-word in anger or who have never made a racist remark about whites leave the room. The room will be empty and the controversy over.

What if the player is black and is spewing racial slurs at whites?

black people are hypocrites. I guarantee damn well every black player has said something or done an act that is racist to a white, asian, hispanic, etc.

I was being facetious; that was my point. I want to hear the outcry from the fricking media and the NFL about all of the racial slurs directed at whites. What's good for the goose is good for the gander

Slap him on the f------ wrist the way the black NBA players who made gay slurs, and racial slurs to other races all the time get slapped and move on.
