The Saints radio team is terrible. Muted the sound on TV and tried to listen on the radio. Could'n do it.

Zach Strief's radio announcing is what caused Kristian Garlic to drink.

I just resubscribed to SiriusXM and tried to listen to one of local broadcast for Saturday night’s games. It was just as bad.

I am not sure which one it was, but one of the teams had a female playbyplay or color commentator. I couldn’t take it.

The only benefit of satellite radio is that in the data stream you can see the text of the score.

WWL if you are reading this, since many posters here complain that they don’t say the score enough, how about WWL use RDS to add the score to radios that use RDS.

Just a thought. I don’t know how technical it can get, but if you can have song data on other Entercom stations then it could be done to add the score on WWL FM.

Who the he'll doesn't like Deuce and Strief? They're passionate and very good on the radio.

I agree with passion, but zack is just not an announcer... he’s bad. Love Deuce but he’s not much better.

I was forced to listen to them in the truck after a hunt. They didn’t give the score, quarter, or time on clock for 3 possessions. They did manage to discuss players cleats at length. The halftime show finally gave the score. They are terrible.

Yeah, I like both of them as people but when you compare to Jim Henderson/Manning or Jim Henderson/Hokie - man those are HUGE drop-offs.

Don't worry, his blocking from back in the gap made alot of younger viewers drink more at an untimely age.

I think Deuce is awesome. His football knowledge is off the charts.

Zach isn’t a great PBP guy, but he has improved since the beginning of this year.

The Saints should have signed a professional, Sean Kelley, for the broadcast team.

Jim was GOAT until 2014 or so when his heart stopped being in it.

I think it is a job that sounds easy, but is super hard to do. The PBP guy almost has to watch the game and give info from a descriptive narrative point of view. The color guy can give perspective from an action/moment point of view. Having two explayers in the booth make it hard for them not to both come from a players perspective. I don’t think they are bad, but I’ve heard better.

That said I think they have good work chemistry and seem to enjoy working together which makes it a good listen.

The absolute worst. Radio is supposed to be your eyes for a game. There are many time were you don't even know what is going on or what the result of a play is. If someone gets hurt they loose all focus on the game.
Also, a color analyst should not explain ever detail of the previous play on EVERY PLAY. Some time's just shut up and let the flow of the game happen.
I have heard better high school broadcast.
But after the game is over, holy shite it's BOBBY TIME !!
