Question for the rules gurus.

On the defensive holding call on the screen pass, I've seen numerous times that the RB on the screen pass gets tackled in the backfield. One Example is last year opening night when Sproles get mugged in the backfield in Lambeau. No call then, what's different tonight?

Why is defensive holding a 5 yard penalty with an auto first down?
