Predict 2020 Saints QB Situation

Since all 3 qb’s are in their final year:
a. Does Brees retire or sign for 1 year, $27.5 million?
b. Does Teddy re sign or play for the Bears or Bucs?
c. Do we franchise Taysom as a full back?
d. All of the above.

Sign Brees to 1yr deal, sign Taysom 3yr/24M, draft QB in later rounds

Depends on how this season ends.
Super Bowl win:
Drew retires
Teddy will get offered the opportunity to stay but I'm not certain they put all their eggs in that basket just yet.
Taysom will get the opportunity to stay and compete.
I think the Saints will explore all avenues to obtain a young franchise QB. Whether it's in the draft, free agency, or a trade.
Lose in the Super Bowl or in the playoffs:
Drew might come back for one more run at it... maybe. If there's no doubt he can still play they should do it.
Teddy seizes the opportunity to be the man somewhere else while earning a huge paycheck to do it.
Taysom gets re-signed to compete with a couple of other vet QBs to backup Drew.

Unless we are willing to give away a truck load of first round draft choices, there is no way we get within range of picking up a good prospect for QB. Best thing is give Drew a 1 year contract, give Hill a three year deal, and make Bridgewater your future guy. You could do a lot worse.

Brees resigns on a two year option deal. Teddy goes to Denver,TB, Chi, for 20 mill a year. Hill gets tendered, we sign the Red Rifle to be Drew’s main backup.
