Context. Lattimore has an int land in his back after getting beat by a practice squad player who then dropped the ball.

Context. White's first career INT (I believe) was from a ball where Trevor Siemien was running backwards and threw arguably the most embarrassing pass of his career.

An INT is an INT.

Do we really want to go down that road and start making half INTS like we do sacks already?
not to PFF....

They actually watch the plays. For example, they likely didn't award a great play to lattimore there

Just like they would not have faulted Brees for the int Ginn tipped in the air

Yes exactly and you chose to point out Lattimores “poor” finish instead

I am a huge Shon fanboy. I get made fun about it all the time. He had a bad game last week.

Blown coverage on not knowing what the call was. Which was obvious pre snap with him screaming for the call. Huge gainer.
Gave up his first catch in the endzone. 2pt to fricking Evans of all people.
Had few other passes completed on him.

I was hoping he had a standout game, because if he did he would have jumped white. PFF loves the guy.

You make my point for me. Casual fan. That’s why we don’t use a sole stat like INT to make a decision. Like I said.

Explain Brees never winning an MVP.

He pretty much will hold every statistical category by the time he is done.

He should have won 2009. I still don't understand that one.

MVP is always as much about narrative as stats.

Would you or not agree that the narrative has always been Lattimore > White throughout the whole season?

If your point is that INTs alone are a stupid way to judge two players, why even point out that context matters? Also, why only point out that context matters with respect to Lattimore?

I just want you guys to see the big picture that’s it. And not focus on just INT.

can you post the write ups for White & Hunt?

I don't understand how they could have Hunt jump Kamara when Kamara still has the better grade, led all RBs on 1st downs & TDs per touch, and was 2nd amongst all RBs in stuff rate. And while they didn't put it up there he lead the league in yards per carry, and was #1 amongst RBs for receiving yards.

Also Hunt had 228 total scrimmage yards more than AK on 124 more touches. Hunt had 11 TDs, Kamara had 13 TDs (14 if you include KOs)

WRONG.

Another question.

How many rookie of the week has White won?

beats me. Those don’t mean much anyway.

What’s better being the second best rookie every week or being the best for two weeks and the 10th best a week here. 8th best here. Etc etc.

This is you being a homer

White has faced

Brady x2
Brees
Cam
Ryan
Winston
Rivers
Cutler
Smith
Carr
Brisset
Mccown x2
Miami backup
Simeon
Dalton

avg QB Rating - 90.4

Stafford

avg QB Rating - 89.7 - and Bryce Petty's ridiculous 55.1 QB rating brings that avg down a lot. Take him out and it's 92.6

Lattimore has been getting more attention and praise than him so I doubt White will win.

Hunt could win it though.

honestly, who cares.

we'd trade neither for neither. they are in the hunt for these awards with way less snaps on each's belt. Sky is the ceiling for both of these guys and we're lucky to have them all.

I would be absolutey shocked if Lattimore doesn't win it. I am 95% sure he will.

Kamara or Hunt is like 50/50

One hidden factor is that the Bills had a poor rush defense after they traded Dareus, therefore opponents didn't need to throw on them much to succeed.

The Saints also had a lot of leads, therefore opposition had more passing plays against them bc they were playing catch up.

Lattimore likely had more success on "money downs" as a result.

So white faced a higher average qb rating....

So, like I said, the guy who said White faced weaker qbs was being a homer.....

They actually faced almost identical QB competition
