Where did this shite scouting report come from? In the SEC this year, Jerry had 18 tackles for loss and 7 sacks. Jerry had no problem getting to the quarterback this year.

I admittedly haven't watched Jerry much and don't recall the LSU game that well. Could it be Jerry benefitted from the players around him @ Ole Miss, sorta like RJF did in LSU's NC game in 07 with Dorsey beside him? Sincere question btw.

Peria highlights

If Peria has a glaring weakness, it's that he needs to be more of a controlled rusher. He consistently pushes the offensive lineman in the backfield, but will miss the quarterback/running back because of his uncontrolled bull rush.

Thanks. I must say, I like him - a lot. High motor, very quick off the ball, good push, and what I thought was the best aspect, in the later games, he started breaking down to not overshoot the play. I'll withhold from giving him the 'Dorsey' tag, but in those clips, he looks like the notch right next to him.

I still think not taking Moreno would be a huge mistake, as I believe he is truly a special talent that only comes along on the draft board in your team's reach so often. That said, hypothetically speaking, if say a team in picks 1-13 take Moreno, at this moment, Jerry would have to be next on my list. I need to sleep on it and find more footage, but his net gain at first glance appears to be higher than the other RBs in the draft ( much less LBs, FSs, CBs ), and that's saying something, as I believe DT #2 is one of the more easily filled positions. Quite impressive.

Jerry looks to me like a smaller weaker version of Sed Ellis. Same hand speed, quickness, and explosion off the ball as Sed, just not as big and as strong.
