Steratore with a 73% home win percentage.
Calls an average of 14 penalties a game this year with 44% of those against the home teams.
His stats this year favor the home team in every facet

It was his crew that called our game against Minnesota week 1 as well.

Looked it up cause I was curious:
Saints 6 penalties for 52 yards
Vikes 5 penalties for 50 yards
And I must have blocked out that game as soon as it was over, but Saints were 1/5 in red zone and 0/3 in goal to go situations? Damn.

Well not % of penalties

It is worth mentioning that this is not his crew. He is the head official but it was said last week that each person is hand selected.
The only member of his regular crew is Ellison.

Any former Vikings on that squad?

This doesn't matter. Didn't the crew last game call 50/50 home vs visitor. How'd that turn out? Not so good for the Saints in penalties.

Just so people understand. This is the mother fricker who did this shite...

That is NFL logic at its best - it’s playoff time, so put together an officials team that has not worked together the entire year. Makes sense to someone, not me.

Aren't they trying to pick out those who graded highest at each position? Maybe it breaks up the season long biases.

Yep. I wonder how many in the basketball audience recognize him. I like the guy, but he's had some issues lately (paper measurement).

Is there a substitute ex-Vikes player ref waiting in the wings?

No Bud Grant?
Fran Tarkenton not available?
How about Joe Kapp?
