It happens...
We had a 50% chance of having to play game #17 on the road.
We had about a 44% chance of having to play a playoff team.
Packers, Bucs, Seahawks, Rams, and Cardinals are all playing their 17th game on the road @ a 2020 playoff team

Yep. I hate this. I love football, but I want teams playing their best football at the end of the year. I feel like 17 games will be really hard on players. Everybody will be limping into the playoffs. And only 1 team gets a bye now.

I know I’m probably in the minority, but I hate Thursday Night NFL football. I hate NFL football in England and Mexico. I hate a 17th game. Anyone in the playoffs is gonna be so banged up it’ll be crappy football.
Play the games on Sunday at 12:00, 3:30 & 7:30 and MNF.

well, we save $400 bucks or so on the extra game in terms of if you have 2 season tickets.
I’m not in favor of this for other reasons mentioned by others as well. Thursday night football the quality clearly sucks. It’s so f’ing hard to keep most of your lineup in tact as you enter the playoffs now, with 17 games it’s definitely not going to improve.
