Anyone looking for a fix from NFL, Coworker told me about our rugby team. NOLA Rugby started up last month and their schedule runs into June. They have a few home games (in Marrero) this month and looks like the games will be on ESPN+

I went to the first game this past Saturday and had a great time. It was a very entertaining game and the PA announcer, while not overbearing, was very helpful in explaining what was going on (I have some understanding of the game but still need help). They have a few things to work out with concessions and merch, but all in all, a good product and good time.

I've been to a couple matches. Rugby is the tits. The environment is very family friendly. I think the last time I was out there, they even had a band playing before the match.

GREAT time to learn how to play Rugby.
I sort of prefer to play touch Rugby lately, however. Regular tackle Rugby is for the young folks.
