This tends to happen often during the Payton/Brees era.

This Week:

46 Passes
11 runs

Last Game:

43 Passes
29 Runs

When Brees have games like this we tend to blame everyone but him and Payton.

Payton calls the plays and Brees calls audibles.......So I not sure who the run problem ultimately lie on, but at the age Brees need a running threat.

When teams know it's a pass play they will Blitz an aging Brees all day.

This type of game strategy has plagued us in the 2nd half of the NFL season and the Playoffs.

Correct, I have no idea why they abandoned the run. It was like this was setup to be a tune up game for Brees or something. This game was weird in general. Somethings not right

How Kamara only had 4 carries???

They abandon the run too fast.

Payton needs to soften his hard head. Poor game plan.

When Green Bay lost last Week, the coach recognized that they took their RB out of the Game plan and became pass happy.....

Payton has to recognize his bad tendencies. Brees should be experienced enough to recognize that they aren't running enough and tell Coach that they need more balance.

Balance offense, will help lesser talented WR's get more space on routes. If their is no run threat, they will play a tight man coverage all game.
