Need A Downfield Threat BAD

Ginn appears to be at the end of his career, Trequan Smith seems like a number 3, TE Cook has yet to impress. Kamara's numbers will soar if the defense has to defend down the field.
On a side note, we'll see if Cook is a keeper when Brees returns. Kinda skeptical at this point.

you don't need a deep threat when your QB can't throw that far.

Yeah both him and Diggs got paid. Either one of those guys would fit well in the Saints offense, but their salaries and the compensation to pry them away would be way too much.
AJ Green might be attainable, but I'm not sure he's 100% healthy yet.

I hate the guy and I know he netted us the best RT in the league but imagine this offense with brandin cooks... would be unfair

I'd rather Teddy take the check downs than force it into coverage and end up with a bunch of pick sixes. Keep rolling with the short passing attack, run the ball and play great defense until Drew gets back.
