Can Harper ever learn to turn around and look for the ball for fricks sake?
Same swiss cheese D, the slightest adversity and they fold.
Only difference is now the Giants actually don't frick up and finish a drive.....
Just score more I guess and go with that; no reason to hope on this D to get better this yr....

However, the craziest thing about the new kickoff rule is how it affects kickoff "penalties". Jenkins could have put Jacobs on his arse after the play and it would have been a personal foul added to the kickoff.
Kick from the 35 = touchback
Kick from the 50 = harder touchback?
My defense would take a free shot once a game after an opposing touchdown was scored

And knowing this, Harper shrunk into a position to get run over instead of being an aggressive safety and wisely going after his legs. The best safeties are the smartest safeties. Harper is not a smart player unfortunately.
His coverage on that drive is exactly why the defense has had such a massive drop off since last season. They have to compensate for how shitty he is in coverage.
