Hicks is a game changer. Damn shame he slipped out of our hands.

Was he one of the disgruntled ex players that hated Payton & co.? Dark times then but for sure he was a beast unlike Galette.

Yep, he’s been pretty open about his disdain for the saints.

He was not a team player here or in NE. He wanted to play only the position he wanted and whined about being player what he considered "out of position." He wanted the freedom to play how he wanted and Chicago gave him that.

I'm pretty certain he was actually out of position in New Orleans and wasn't performing to the same level as years prior, so I completely understand why he was frustrated. Imagine being elite (or well on your way to approaching elite) at one thing while just average at another, and your boss makes you do the average job, potentially affecting your future compensation.

was pretty cool seeing hearing Brees basically call his shot with Murray on the dump pass. he knew what defense was coming and had Murray in a position to take advantage of it.

Hicks wanted to hurt Drew if he could legally. Or even borderline illegally.

I think Drew is one of the people Hicks lumps into his hatred of the Saints.

Hicks is right there behind Donald as the best DT in football.

I liked hearing Foles tell Brees to go win it and that he was cheating for him! That’s that Austin Westlake connection.

Hicks was a big Rob Ryan guy, and did not like it when SP stripped Ryan of his duties

Yes! Me too. Always been a fan of Foles but that made me like him even more.

Man, Hicks seemed like a psycho. Dude had some demons from us.

Sounds like Payton's audio got messed up.

No not even close. Hicks technique is horrible, he plays way too high, relies on size and strength. He is often pushed off the ball by any above average guards in the league. He has weeks where he is totally shut out of a game.

I’d take our current DTs over him right now
