I am starting to get very concerned....Was hoping it was rust/1st game jitters last week but last night he was still very slow off the ball.

Don't understand why you getting all the down votes bc your not wrong.. Davenport has been very inconsistent coming off the ball..he looks really fast sometimes(on obvious passing downs) and a step behind everyone else on downs that can go either run or pass

He’s not necessarily slow, but he is a beat or 2 behind everyone once the ball is snapped. He’s fast once he gets going. He just needs to react to the snap better. He’s played very well though.

But yet he still decleated the QB on a sack fumble.

Yall are fricking ridiculous.

Never said he wasn't playing really good at times bc he is but you can't base his overall performance on one play of decleating a QB for a sack fumble.. looks like he has a lot of potential(which this is the reason he was drafted bc of his high ceiling) to be really good and the consistency will come with the more snaps he sees

Name one other player besides Von Miller who can bend their body in a 30 degree angle?

I'll wait. There's maybe 5 in the league.

Worse yet, you are complaining about something that can be corrected with reps.

Again, ridiculous.

I agree that he’s playing well but his timing off the ball is slow at times. That’s something that will get corrected with reps and he’ll be a fricking stud. He’s going to be worth all four picks we gave up for him.

He's a young kid trying to figure it all out, he'll be okay in time once he gets it down. It is not easy coming from where he has come now to the NFL level. But you guys always expect these players to be playing at a level as if they are already NFL players now, not gonna happen like that, everyone must crawl before they start walking. He will be fine.

Exactly..he hasn't been a defensive player for that long..just give him a little bit of time and he will be just fine

He's just letting them get a head start. It wouldn't be fair otherwise.

He might be but this is not the type of guy you pick 14th overall and give up a 1st rounder in 2019. This is a 3rd round pick or later.

He did not look slow, it may be because he is 6'6 but he does have a weird stance.

How many threads have you mad about kid. Geez ,did you watch him last night he was pushing OLineman back to QB almost every pass play . We as a team dominated Rams and you bring this weak sauce. Please become Falcant fan then you have shite to complain about.
