I live in ATL work with some Falcons fans. Since they beat us and now Carolina they all of a sudden going to finish 9-7 and make the playoffs. OMG these people smh smh. Can't wait until next week to bring them back to earth by the 3rd quarter it's OVER.

9-7 might not be good enough to make the playoffs

It definitely won’t be good enough to make the playoffs.

I think the only way is if the Saints finish the season 1-5 or worse.

Both current wild cards (Seattle and Minnesota) already have 8 wins
Good luck with that

Plus the tie breaker over ATL.

And I thought I was delusional.

In the Afc maybe

We could easily have an 11-5 team not make the playoffs this year

We are 8-2

I pray ATL keeps "going for it

A 8-8 finish for them would be hilarious

Division race is over and they arent getting a Wildcard. 2 NFC West and 2 NFC North teams basically have those locked up already.

I remember being in that position.

last time we were in that position

we were 4-8, won our last 4 and missed the playoffs

that 4 game skid bought Haslett and Brooks another season

Katrina Happened

the only things that needed to happen for us to rebound/become successful

Sean getting passed over for the GB job, a future HOF QB destroying his rotator cuff destroying his FA market, the presumed no.1 overall pick being passed over, finding Ring of Honor players in the same draft in rounds 2, 4, and 7(2). An unprecedented home field advantage for a 3-13 team along with a whole slew of other lucky bounces

at the end of the day I dont think God loves Atl the same way he loves NOLA. Their winning will only help the Saints close out the Brees era successfully.

I am all for Falcons RISING UP and out of the top half of the draft. In 2020 draft Tampa currently seeded at 7th, Atlanta at 8. Hope they both finish around .500.

A top 5 Atlanta could end up with a defensive beast like Young or Epenesa

Tampa could tank and make a play for Burrow in which case this board will sh*t itself

that would suck as a Saint fan but I would be happy for Burrow if he finds a way out of Cincy

Burrow with Evans, Godwin, and OJ Howard would be problematic though

Tampa with a good QB would be a scary team IMO. They add a couple secondary pieces and they’re a problem. Fortunately for us a competent QB is one of the hardest positions to find in sports

Not sure what ATL fans you're talking to. Everyone is saying how the frick did the defense we've seen the last 2 weeks go 1-7 and should have been 0-8? It shows what a shite coach Coach Bro is that having one coach call 1st and 2nd downs, and another coach call 3rd and 4th downs can produce better results than the shite he was trotting out there as HC/DC.

That and while they're fricking up draft position, still a good feeling to get a W. Don't know anyone talking about playoffs.

Yeah, they would have to win the division at that record. NFC North and West runners-up likely take the Wildcards.

Their ceiling is 9-7. The wildcard teams already have 8 wins. They have a less than 1% chance and will be eliminated this week. Atlanta fans are dumb as shite. The arse whoopin they were supposed to get in New Orleans they are going to get in Atlanta on Thanksgiving. Saints won't be overlooking them this time.

Seahawks and Vikings might be 11-5/12-4 Wildcards, but go on and dream.
