Remember 06 when we had Fujita, Shanle and Simoneau starting. Two white dudes and a half Asian?

Now we have two white dudes and a Polynesian.

Fun facts. Are we the only LB corps in the league without a black dude starting?

This is the unofficial depth chart released today, looks like Robertson will be starting over Anzalone:

Note though that Underhill thinks it won't play out like this at all.

If Anzalone starts. I wouldn't be surprised to see it be Robertson while Anzalone continues to learn the defense.

It won't. Once again (not with this particular one but with all unofficial depth charts) it's just a media depth chart and the coaches have zero input on it.

But I think you can see our media is fricking incompetent listing Lattimore as 3rd string. He'll be starting, and you figure the media team would want to pump a first round pick.

I feel like these are always the handiwork of Duncan trolling fans in the know.

Feels like Williams is the starting fs, bell doesn't have that iq and vision although he's a more surefire tackler.

There's no chance in hell Lattimore is the 3rd string CB behind Crawley.

Crawley is one thing as there are flashes behind the bad. But behind Devante Harris? No fricking way.

That jumped out at me for sure.

Also Davison over Onyemata.

Ingram / Peterson co-starters and no FB wishbone???

Well we have no FB by position at the moment, but Hooman will fill that role if Kuhn isn't brought back before the game.

Also Davison has been doing VERY well in the run game and will actually start the games. Onyemata will play a huge role though, and could perhaps outsnap him depending on how games go.

CSP knows that you never take them to the Analzone until they are good and ready. That depth chart is just a tease.

He's not back yet. He just isn't on PUP because he'd miss games he wouldn't have to. He'll likely be back after the bye.

I don't get how Crawley is more proven than Sterling Moore. Also, Lattimore better be starting by week 3. I'm okay with him coming off the bench in game 1, just like Anzalone, but come on...

He's not, which is another reason why this depth chart is a joke. Moore had more starts and snaps depsite being here 2 or 3 less games last year.

It Lattimore doesn't start on the outside it will be Moore.

Edit:
Moore played 13 games with 12 starts last year, notching 805 snaps (76.74% of all defensive snaps, which is impressive since he missed 3 games with us; would have been near 100% if he was here the whole year)

Crawley played 15 games with 5 starts, notching 502 snaps (47.86% of all defensive snaps). B.W. Webb had more starts (14 games with 7 starts and 587 snaps) and he sucked. Ellerbe played 444 snaps and only played in 9 games.

So that's just some perspective about how much of a joke this depth chart is. The top three corners right now are PJ, Lattimore, and Moore. Crawley will be lucky to see the field Monday.

I bet you're one of those people who fuss about bringing politics into football

It also has Ginn as the starting kick/punt returner. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

Ginn is a very good punt returner. Kick returns can go to someone else though.

Not to split hairs, but there's no asian DNA in that list, just a last name.

Lol, I was just about to post this. Fujita was adopted by a Japanese dad.

Kevin Kaesviharn, on the other hand...
