Any word on the extent of this injury ?????

He tweeted that he's good to go and all, but that could have been social media sunshine. We'll see.

Yeah his hammy was the problem at Ohio St

didn't stop him from running out there to get in the picture after the non interception.

I think it was a good sign that he was able to come back even though just for a play or 2.
If it was high ankle sprain I don’t think that would’ve been possible

A buddy of mine is a camera man for WWL and said after the game he saw him in a boot but said he was told it wasn’t serious and will be good to go, the boot was just to keep everything tight, nothing more than a sprain...

Yeah I rolled my ankle like that and it was swollen for about 3 weeks (less and less though). I could walk but it was tender for a good two weeks where I couldn't do too much before it started hurting.
Straightline walking and light running isn't an issue. ANY bend hurt like hell that first week though.
Depending on severity he may or may not play next week but he should be able to at least test it against the Panthers.

I predict lattimore, KV, and klein all miss next week and return healthy for panthers game.

He is a corner, so he needs to be able to pivot on that foot...looks like he twisted it and it was tightening up on him. Hopefully a week of rest will alleviate the soreness.

That would be for the best. Need him for the long haul, one week is worth it to make sure he gets back to 100%.

Thankfully next week we play a team with a ground and pound run game, so if he's limited in snaps its not against an air out offense.
quote:Yea, i'm not trying to diagnose his injury specifically, but those ankles have injuries that can linger a while, which is very concerning.
I think it'll linger. Hopefully not too bad though.
Tough call at 8-2, so important to continue winning and get into the playoffs then shoot for a 1st round bye if that chance is still there.
But at the same time you have to balance that with hoping you can get Lattimore at 100% for the playoffs too.

Robert Woods possibly being out next week will help us.

Seems like we really need some of these guys back on defense for the rams game to stop Todd Gurley
re: Lattimore injuryPosted by Browncoatrebel on 11/20/17 at 9:02 am to Dave England
Do we have him come back next week or go the extra cautious route and roll the dice on our current motley Crew of DBs? I'd almost prefer resting him and potentially losing a game. Yesterday showed that he's basically our whole defense

Was thinking the same. No damn high ankle sprain and he will be back soon.
