"Again, we tell our referees not to be incompetent but they just can't help themselves."

Yet again the refs go completely against protocol when it involves the Saints.

Yeah nothing here is news. The question is, if the SOP is assuming a fumble and then going back to check if it was incomplete, why did they do the exact opposite?

They screwed the Saints out of a TD because they disregarded their own policy.

Funny how refs always seem to break protocol against us.

that's the whole point

get Riveron on the record saying that Walt Anderson didn't follow protocol

al riveron last 3 games:

" yeah we missed the call"

" yeah they messed up on the clock rundown"

" yeah the did not let it play out"

THREE GAMES IN A ROW

what is that old saying?

once a fluke

twice a coincidence

three times a trend

And then what? He gets downgraded? What consequence does that bring?

How about new referee rule:

NO MORE WHISTLES ON QUARTERBACK FUMBLES, SEND TO AUTOMATIC REVIEW

Who cares if it adds 3 minutes to the game. It’s fricking 2019. College football reviews every other play to make sure the runner gained fricking 8.6 yards and not 8.3 yards.

"We tell our referees, when in doubt, let it play out"
Further emphasizes my point that either NFL officials are inept or NFL training is inefficient. They're taught how to make the correct call and they frick it up anyway? Somebody isn't coming clean.

We saw this last week when Kamara lay on the ground a full 3-4 seconds before releasing the ball. The refs still let it play out and the Saints recovered the ball. If the Saints had not recovered, the "fumble" would have been challenged and easily would have been reversed. But today, out of nowhere, the refs refuse to do as they have been taught and immediately call a clear fumble an incomplete pass.

The truth is, this is not being done based on incompetence or human error. It's being done on purpose. There can be no question about that now.

3 straight official games with 3 major frick ups.... and I’m sure another apology is on the way this week to go with the other 2 apologies the Saints have gotten from the NFL already... this will be this weeks conversation... “ Hello... Saints?.... yea man, sorry we happened to frick y’all again, we apologize though”... then you hear a laugh and they hang up...frick THE NFL and frick THE NFL RAMS TOO...

Not against us in particular, just when we are playing against the Rams. LA needs all the attention they can get.

They could have easily broken protocol and let the return stand since everyone kept playing.

What else is he suppose to say. Everyone knew the refs blew the call as soon as they reviewed it and reversed the call. Everyone knows the refs are suppose to let the play go on since a turnover is reviewed. The NFL has an agenda against the Saints. That's clear as day. You can't beat the refs. And nothing will change that. The NFL does what it wants. Season tickets still sell out year after year. Nothing is hurting the NFLs coffers.
