Florio mentioned it on the NBC sports show but Ithought he was talking out of his arse . I'm glad to hear others are mentioning it as well.

I'm going to the airport later to try to pry some info out of Harper. Might have to buy him a couple of drinks first. FML.

If Lane Johnson is there then it is a no brainer. Defense or not the key to this team's success is Drew Brees and the most vital part of keeping him healthy is a productive LT.

This worries me a little hopefully its a smokescreen. I honestly wouldn't mind trading up to get him as I think he will be a stud, but what worries me is we don't have the ammo to do it. That being said if we stay pat and he is gone my big worry is we reach for a OT (armstead from pine bluff, melenik "don't know how to spell his name" watson from florida state) etc.

And no I don't think Fluker is an option because i see him as more a RT or guard

I still think we may go 3rd or 4th round OT. That's been the Saints MO since Loomis/Payton have been here. (Evans, Bushrod & Nicks)

we can't be thin at tackle with Strief on the roster.

Saw on wiki he is now divorced. Married a local girl in '09. Besides the sprained MCL and groin problems last year he might have had a heavy personal load going on.

Lucky find, mediocre in his best years, and first round talent with character issues.

I'm tired about hearing this is their MO when they whiffed on just as many guys as they "hit" on. Tennant? Brown? Alleman?

One lucky find in Payton's draft history does not make a pattern.

Can't forget though that those picks were made when Kromer was around. May have had a decent bit to do with the ability to spot them that late.
