Ted Ginn is NOT the answer. Dropped some easy balls today and just seemed disinterested. We’ve got to get this fixed if we truly want to make a super bowl run! Need a receiver who can stretch the field and has good hands! Why is that so difficult to find?

Dez would be a major upgrade from anything currently on the roster

yep, but there are so many on this forum who keep saying we have the best WR in the whole league and we dont need anyone else because they wouldnt be an upgrade

they are silent as crickets now and yet they still refuse to admit the falcons took MT away and carr dropped like 6 passes that were in his hands, and we lost this game mainly from having no game plan at all, but also in large part because the WR werent getting open.

i will admit they came in like this was a practice scrimmage and just expected to win without a game plan and the birds came to play like this was their SB because its as close as they will ever get

Well, if you watched the game getting open wasn't the problem. They had open WRs all game Brees just didn't see them and attempt to hit them.

Drew Brees better get in that film room instead of jet setting around to Purdue on the bye week to get hair go stroked by a bunch of college kids. He looks for any excuse to leave Louisiana.

False anyone who thinks this didnt watch today’s game. It’s an excuse for people who can’t understand other holes in our offense.

Our holes aren’t a lack of pass catchers. Cook looked good today and he and Brees will only connect more. Our problems are redzone offense and the OL. Really OL play. Every time they throw up a dud we lose and I’m sick of it. They’re too talented to not be dominant like they were against Dallas and Seattle and Chicago every single week. When they play well we put up points bottom line.

But an underrated part of offense is sticking the fricker in the end zone. Whether it’s play calls, penalties or drops, we are middle of the road in red zone offense and it’s been a problem since the NFCCG and what’s concerning is that it STILL is a problem. #2 WR isn’t a problem. Red zone offense is

Uhh that’s a pretty broad, generalized statement... would another good WR not help redzone offense?

Maybe

Maybe not

But it’s also an assumption, a false one, that our woes on offense are because of a lack of a secondary option at receiver

Offensive line and WRs getting open go hand in hand just like pass rush and coverage. If you have WRs getting open off the line, the offensive line doesn’t have to hold up as long.
